My New Fate:
It could be useful to let you know how my experience with teaching started. In 1986; when I first came to UK, I had a great dream of practicing my job as an Architect! after many trials and failure to get a job, I got depressed. One day after finishing praying in the Mosque, a Malaysian women came next to me and asked me: Do speak Arabic? with sad voice I replyed yes I am an Arab. with tears in her eyes; she asked if I can teach her Arabic as she recite the Qur`an perfectly without understanding a word! For a moment of confusion I realised; for the first time of my life, that I have a valuable thing that I have never noticed before! I said to her why not though I've never done this before. I understood that Allah has chosen for me a different new fate!
Based on my personal experience of learning English and Frensh I started designing my lessons using a very old typewriter! I enjoyed my new experience of teaching which lasted three years. While I was teaching I realised that my next step was to equip myself with more professional skills. I enroled with the Open University and passed a Diploma in Post Compulsory Education. Unfortunately I had to go back home and took my final exam at the British Cultural Centre, with a great sorrow that I could not continue my new dream. But I made a promiss to develop teaching materials for Arabic Language.
Ten years later I had the opportunity to come back to UK again. Emmidiately I started to look for a course to refresh my knowledge. I completed a certificate in Adult Education Tutors & Trainers. I started working as a Tutor in 2002 with continual computer studies to develop my skills. Since I started work I decided to plan for the courses and produce them in a website so that every one who is interested in learning or teaching Arabic can benefit from it all over the world. I hope that I succeeded in achieving my goal dream! But how far I succeeded, this will be your judgement!
